  • Don't waste your time. They overcharged on window coverings ordered( which evidenced how wiling they are to rip off consumer). Lack of guidance and professionalism of salesperson who was supposed to be knowledgeable about sun exposure and appropriate window coverings, for same. (The first thing I asked for her was for guidance bc this particular Hunter Douglas product, I saw on tv and may not have been most appropriate for the intense heat coming in) Which I emphasized over and over. There was no designer with me at their showroom and apparently and importantly, the owner was just as ignorant, as he said these products aren't made to keep out light and heat!! Maybe he should familiarize himself with the range of Hunter Douglas line of products. Checked with experts at Hunter Douglas, and the products installed. They came to my home and sent a 15 page review of what Illuminations did in my house, and how each shade was the wrong product for the sun exposure discussed. Would have given zero stars if feasible and also wished I sued him( it cost me two times what the price should have been and then had to pay double for blackout backed curtains to put in dining room, and had to pay more to take out salesperson's from Illuminations, Hunter Douglas choice for bedroom. Her inappropriate product suggestion for dining room and necessary replacement what they put in, for a diff Hunter Douglas bedroom product to reflect heat and light, which is also a Hunter Douglas product. (Which are great). They just don't know what they're doing. Save your money. He's a thief, a liar and disgusting individual, whom I never met and this vile man, left an abusive message cursing at me on my phone, when I attempted to challenge this charge. And again, I never met him!!!! Stay away, far away!!
