  • I am very impressed with this VCA clinic (only one I've been to with my kitty). Our vet is Dr. Robin Hadley and not only could they accommodate us very quickly when (I think) cat hurt his shoulder, but she has been a great advisor in subsequent visits with all the old cat problems (ear infection, hyperthyroidism, coming back from 3 weeks of hyperthyroidism medication with cat having a severe reaction, diet prescription for kitty etc etc). The staff there in general seem very patient and understanding of worried pet owners which is always a great plus because you can ask all the questions you want and not leave with any nagging feeling. Another plus is that the most basic (and important bloodwork) can be done at the u of I vet clinic/teaching hospital so it takes less than 48 h to know results (unless it's over the weekend). I'm extremely grateful to live so close to such a good vet clinic. Also, to be honest I appreciate their pricing. I was expecting much worse bills at every step of the way and it feels like a relief to say that it is not as bad as I thought!
