  • STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! My experience with ultimate tanning was an ultimate disappointment! I went in trying to get a tan for an upcoming wedding. There was a young girl chomping away on her mcdonalds as I walked in. I told her what I was trying to do and we discussed some options. I decided I'll just do one month on a level 2 bed but just as I was about to pay I saw a sign about points. I asked her what the points meant. She told me one point equalled one minute in a bed. I asked her on which bed and she told me I could use any bed! I thought wow that sounds like an amazing deal and she told me that would would end up being cheaper so I said sign me up! I picked a bed for my first tan and she sent me off. I said wait how long should I do. And after a little talking we decided on 8 min in a high pressure bed. A couple days later I went back in and planned to use a level 2 bed. And again she tried to send me off and put me in for full time. I said oh no I'll fry won't i. She said no you'll be fine. So I reluctantly did the full 12 minutes. By 7 minutes in i felt fried and got out to see that my back side was totally burnt!!! On my 3rd visit it was a different girl. She told me I was out of minutes and I said no I shouldn't be I've only used 20 minutes. Confused she told me points equalled dollars towards each bed. I said that was not was I was told and if I had been told that I would have just got the one month like I originally planned. I also told the girl that the first girl I dealt with burnt me in the level 2. She said for today pick whichever bed and she'd call the manager. On my way out she told me the manager would call or email me and we'd figure something out. I didn't hear from the manager so 2 days after this happened I emailed her. She offered me one tan on a level 4. I said that was an acceptable solution as that wasn't what I was told I was paying for and explained I was trying to tan for an event. I asked for 5 tans on any level and felt as though that would at least be close to what I thought I had purchased. She responded saying they would not do that and could give me the next 4 days on a level 2. She then proceeded to tell me the employee never told me points equalled minutes and that I insisted on going 12 minutes even though she suggested 6. So not only do I feel robbed I've now been told I'm lying. This place is a joke!!! Service is terrible and the salon is nothing special. I will never be going back and have told everyone I know how terrible it is!
