I've had pets my whole life and have never been to a place like this. Everytime I went there they hit me from all angles starting with the receptionist to the vet tech, to the vet trying to get me to spend as much money as possible before I left. The final straw was when I took my cat in for an infected claw he had lost getting chased up tree by a dog. This happened once before when I lived in the Annex. At that time I went to the Annex Animal Hospital and they prescribed some antibiotics, gave me some surgical soap and my cat was soon as good as new. I think it was like $100 max. What does this place do? They try to milk me for like $1500. Telling me he needs ultrasounds and lab work and insinuating that if I don't do all these fancy treatments that I must not really care about my pet. I told them exactly what I thought they were up to. Let's see... fancy high park people with fancy pets = money. I even wrote them a letter telling them that I would not be returning to their clinic and why. They responded by saying in a letter that they just want the best possible care for my pet. Yeah right. I won't be back and advise everyone to go somewhere else unless you have the money to prove you really love your pet.
