  • We absolutely LOVE the food here and have been in multiple times but I have to say, last night was extremely disappointing from the moment we walked in until we left. I had my newborn with me and requested a sling. The gentlemen set it down and watched me put the baby into it securely then mentions that it might not be a good place to have the baby in because it would be in the way of the employees slicing the meat. So then why would you put it there to begin with and then wait until after I put the baby in it to mention that??!! Second, a waiter comes up to the table numerous times while we were waiting for our guests being very aggressive and trying to up sell us things we were not interested in. We were there for the delicious Brazilian meats not seabass. He was very rude and arrogant in the process. We had to ask multiple times for items that were missed or never brought out at all. However, given that it is a team effort where you get multiple servers that come up to the table I can see how things might be miscommunicated. That leaves me to the final and the most disappointing part of the evening. My father in law drove up last year from out of town for his birthday and liked it so much he drove into town again requesting to come back to this restaurant again for his birthday. Last year I spoke to our server as well as a manager explaining that we would like to surprise him with a molten chocolate cake for his birthday. It never came out. They offered him the desert menu, he chose the molten chocolate cake, they brought it out with no candle or birthday at all. I approached the manager asking what happened. They apologized, came up to the table and told him they were going to surprise him with a desert. Ummmm, when you tell someone about the surprise is not really a surprise plus we already had the one that was supposed to be a birtday. So they basically ruined the entire moment. Last night I arrived early having a conversation with THREE people including another manager explaining what happened last year and basically begged for it to not happen this time. Unfortunately that was too much to ask because for the second year in a row the same thing happened!!!! The best part was apparently they were closing, the servers were circling our table like sharks impatiently waiting for us to leave. Meanwhile, I was still waiting for them to surprise the guest of honor with the deserts we preselected and spoke about. Our main server said no one mentioned it to him but after speaking to 3 different people I can't understand how this happened, AGAIN!!
