I am pleased to present this update of Allegiant Air. If you read my last review you know we had several flights on Allegiant in 2011/2012 that were simply riddled with horrible service, delays, paid seats that were given away, travel misery in general. I promised to write back if my Aug 2012 experience proved better. It did! Allegiant has done away with their open seating policy and everyone gets an assigned seat. We bought ours so we were ensured seats together. They also have made it possible to print boarding passes in advance, so no more 2 hour line at McCarran to simply get a boarding pass. In addition our flight (to Oregon) was only a few minutes late both ways. All in all, the experience was pleasant. Let's hope this good trend continues.
