One of the most practical stations on the TTC's Bloor-Danforth line, the Spadina subway station is one of the most convenient stations on the line due to the presence of an underground streetcar stop located here. At the crossroads where the Annex meets Bloor, the station is well kept, staffed, and provides commuters shelter from the winter months when making streetcar connections. The only downside to this is that one of the entrances to the station has access only via token and metrocard-activated turnstiles which are not only outdated in style, but not helpful for travellers who lack tokens and metrocards and require a station agent (or vending machine) in order to purchase a ride. Otherwise, it's an ideal station for residents, workers, and tourists residing/working/visiting the neighborhood.
