First things first.. My hair color is disappointing.. I was at the Salon until 12:30 am this morning trying to fix it (I got to the salon at 4pm). I will say that I appreciate them staying so late because it would have been impossible to come back before my event to have it fixed. My hair was ORANGE after my first go with bleach. I have gone from my auburn/honey blonde to blonde highlights and lowlights several times and its has never turned orange. I asked my stylist before we started if she would be able to achieve my look and she stated that we should do a patch test first. I agreed. The patch test turned out wonderfully and she stated that she would absolutely be able to achieve a lighter look without any concern of my hair being orange.I always go to a professional for my hair and I have never been unhappy until now. My stylist worked very hard to fix it for me, which is appreciated but I am still disappointed. My hair is still brassy and my highlight/lowlight pattern is spotty and not well blended.
As bad as the color is the most appalling thing that happened during my visit were my encounters with the other staff. I was repeatedly made to feel like it was my fault that my hair turned out this way. I was spoken to in a very negative tone by two other senior stylists. I was told multiple times that my negative outcome was because I used a box color on my hair or that I previously went to stylist that was inexperienced. Neither of which are true. At one point my stylist consulted another stylist by phone and the other stylist while on speaker said "What more can we do for this F*****G girl?" My jaw dropped. I honestly couldn't believe what I had heard. I ignored the comment, because at that point I just wanted to finish my hair and leave as soon as I could. I left the salon feeling awful about myself, no one should be treated like I was. I sincerely hope that these issues can be addressed and fixed.
