I don't know if they had a change in management or a huge staff turnover but the service has tanked recently.
My husband and I stopped in last weekend because we were both having a craving for sushi. When we walked in there was one couple at the bar and 2 other tables- pretty quiet for a Saturday afternoon. We figured we would get service fairly quickly. Wrong. In total we had 2 miso soups, 5 rolls (AYCE) and 8 pieces of sashimi. From the time we ordered the first roll to the time we paid the check it took AN HOUR AND A HALF. The sushi chef was newer and I get that staff needs to train but it took freaking forever. On top of that our server was damn near impossible to track down to get water refills. It was just bad all around. The sushi itself was OK but the sashimi was cut really unevenly.
What a shame that this place has started to go downhill. This used to be my go-to sushi place but after the last few visits I don't think I will be going back anytime soon.
