  • I was a customer of Betty's back in 2014 when Betty owned this Dog Spa. She was truly Amazing at her craft. Unfortunately I moved to the Bay Area and was sad to leave. I came back to the Valley 4 months ago and needed my 2 little girls groomed. I have a Maltese and a Toy Yorkie that I have cut in a special way. My Maltese Gracey wears what's called Boots or Slippers on her feet. I asked the girls if they knew how to trim her that way and all answered yes. They trimmed MY Yorkie in what the girl called a "Cocker Cut"! WHAT! I had never heard of such a cut for a toy Yorkie. When my husband brought them home I was a little shocked but I thought maybe I need to go in and tell Betty what had happened. I made my 2nd appointment and brought the girls in and explained to them what had happened and asked if they knew who groomed the girls. By now both of the dogs had been taken to the back. I asked to speak to Betty and the NEW OWNER said, "Oh Betty lives in Florida and I own the shop now"! I again explained what I wanted and asked if she knew what slippers were on dogs etc? She stated she knew and was sorry that I had a rough experience. She then explained that ALL of the groomers that had worked for Betty all left but told me that she had some of the TOP groomers in the Valley. Well when I picked the girls up I was so sad to see that the boots on Gracey's feet looked AWFUL and wasn't even offered a discount for being so upset. $50 is a RIP OFF IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOUR DOING! I have lived all over the and this was the 1st time that I was treated poorly by a groomer! My suggestion is if Betty was your groomer find someone new. The owner charges more than Betty because she paid to much for someone else's shop! I wouldn't even go back if I was offered a discount at this point!
