  • Locals just taking advantage of a late summer rate on Priceline.com. $101 was a steal and it was for my daughter's birthday. Well, the staff couldn't have been nicer, especially to the birthday girl! They put us on the 20th floor (great view of Phoenix and Chase Field) and as a birthday gift to Emma, they gave her a free in-room movie (they chose Inside Out--big surprise!). On top of that, they paid for Dinner at the Compass Arizona Grill (a $150 credit!) - the revolving restaurant atop the Hyatt. I was blown away! The fun didn't end there. The staff had arranged for seven (she was turning 7) cupcakes with Happy Birthday written in chocolate on a large plate to be delivered to the room. She was SO excited! The room was very nice, comfortable beds. Could not have been more pleased with our stay.
