  • The issue I have with getting my brows done is that often 'stylists' seem to want to make them much smaller than I prefer, regardless of what I say. I am into the "big brow" look and often am just looking for a clean up, not a re-shaping. Jane at Brow Studio understood my struggle and gave me a good clean waxing. However, she then, unprovoked, drew on big black eyebrows on top of my light brown hair so I looked a bit groucho-marx-y. I had to go home right away and wash it off because I looked nuts, in my opinion. And then, to cap off the ridiculousness, I received THREE phone calls and two voice mails from Jane that day asking me to call her because I looked like I wasn't "ready" for those strong brows! It felt a bit like a needy friend or ex calling and begging for you to come back. haha! The price was also very high and I refuse to believe that is the price I have to pay to maintain my big brows. I don't think I'd go there again. But, AFTER ALL THIS, they do know brows and they are at least enthusiastic and professional. Maybe give it a shot for yourself, as this was my own personal experience.
