| - Thank you for reading this and hopefully you will find this helpful. As an international student, Vertex apartment along with its unprofessional managers are the worst thing I have ever experienced in the U.S. so far. Here're some reasons why: 1. Adopting every possible way to trick you (especially if you are international students) to sign the contract. What they told me I was signing was an "application", and when I asked if I should read it through they told me not to and keep sliding down the pages on a tablet and let me sign. 2. The manager whose name is Anthony simply told me that there's no right for me to fight the contract and "even if you die, you will still need to fulfil the contract," "you will get deported from America if you don't, and the likelihood for you to come back to this country will very swing especially now Donald Trump is the president..."(that was exactly what he told me) 3. After all that, I though the only advantage of signing a fall 2017 contract in November 2016 is that I can get a better room location as my move-in statement indicated. However, they just changed the room without notifying (This room location is probably the worst you can get). 4. Lying and innovative false advertisements. I have some friends who originally live in this apartment were notified to renew with so-called lowest rent of the year and many of them were tricked to renew and then the Vertex started to give another $2000 discount to new lease and renew. Personally, I have been lied so many times and in so many ways and if any of you guys interested I can tell you all different ones all day, no kidding, and they are all very interesting. ALL I TALKED ABOUT in this comment are all supported by evidence and witnesses. We now have 13 international students gathering a group, trying to find a legal solution, feel free to contact me if you'd like to join.
