By far the worst experience of my life. Early this morning my dog started choking on a small bone he had been chewing on and couldn't get out. I gave him a minute or so before he started hovering by my feet pretty much begging for my help. I was helpless and had no idea what to do in order to help him.. Next thing I know he started foaming from his mouth and I freak out some more, grab him and rush out the door. Being new to the area I had no clue what I was up against but I knew I needed to get him some where asap! I have been with Banfield for about 3 years now but after today that whole wellness plan is out the window!! I walk into this Banfield that states they open at 7am but clearly its just the front girls that are there at 7. I walk in with my dog and tell her my situation and she had the decency to say "Oh, the doctors don't get here till 8 and he looks fine.. is that all you came in for?" Seriously??? That's all you have to say, after what I had been through before walking through those doors, I had to just walk out.. My dog was in a life or death situation but to her he was completely fine. Although he might have been better because he did end up throwing up right before we got in there.. that means nothing to me when moments before that he had foam from his mouth! It just goes to show what type of people that work in this place. I'd go elsewhere and if you have a wellness plan that you can "walk in" with, that clearly means nothing to them.
