| - If you don't want to read the long version, just know that I would never recommend this property or management company to ANYONE. My best advice is to stay away at all costs.
I was a resident here for 3 years and put in my 60 day notice when the management refused to let me see an apt I was going to transfer to. What kind of place doesn't let you look at an apartment before signing a lease? After a ton of back and forth, they were going to let me see it the day before I was scheduled to move in. The day before! I had friends and family coming into town to help me move and a moving company scheduled- what if I hated it? I was expected to just settle. Finally, I had to reach out to the district property manager and discuss the situation with her. Thank god she was understanding, but unfortunately she couldn't make up for the lack of competence in the leasing consultants on site.
-when I first moved in and needed to switch my utility bill into my name the leasing office sent me an email with the contact number. When I called the number was for an ADULT SEX CHAT LINE. Lucky for the property, I'm not a straight-edge because that could have been an ugly situation. I emailed them back to let them know so they didn't make the same mistake again. No apology, no anything. They said 'we must have typed the number wrong.'
-I have a dog that I had to pay a ridiculous $350 non-refundable pet fee. I get it, some people aren't responsible pet owners, some pets aren't trained, etc but $350? Whatever, I paid it because I love my dog. ONE YEAR after having my dog and paying the deposit I get an email congratulating me on my new fur baby, and reminding me to pay the ONE TIME FEE I ALREADY PAID. Um, nice try, not going to happen.
This place is a joke and you'll get screwed in the end. Don't waste your money applying for an apartment. There are plenty of other places around here that are professional and accommodating.
