I left this place about an hour ago and the first thing I need to bring to light is their pricing which is too high especially for the poor quality of work performed. The thing that I found off putting was their suprisingly unfriendly disposition when I walked in the door. They barely acknowledged me. My nail technician sat me down and rattled off an amount that I hadn't even asked for yet as if he wanted me to psy upfront. Then as he began removing my old nails he was extremely rough and of course his unfriendly air continued. I express to him that I like the acrylic to be thin and that my nails need to be short and narrow because I like them to look natural. He began arguing with me that he had heard me tell him that the first time. I had to remind him that I was paying for my nails to get done the way that I wanted them to be, not the other way around. The last thing that actually kind of upset me is that when 2 separate Caucasian women walk into the nail salon, the staffs seemingly usual unfriendly acknowledgement disappeared. These women were greeted cheerfully and I found that to be unappreciative of me as a black woman also patronizing their business. They were cracker dry with me the entire time I was therr. When I left, no one said thank you or goodbye and I will never go there again!!!
