  • I'm a total newbie to VCA, so this is based purely on my first experience. I'll update again after several more appointments. I have friends with pets that have highly praised VCA and said they are worth the higher price to bring their animals here because of the wonderful care. After my first experience, I agree. For new clients, they provide a totally free check-up. This doesn't include vaccinations or anything. The dog I rescued from the humane society was heartworm positive so I made a vet appointment so I could have some knowledge dropped on me to prepare me to best care for my fur baby. The veterinarian was wonderful! He laid on the floor and gave my lab all sorts of tummy rubs and loved on him so he could easily check out his teeth and all other bits and pieces. He informed me of medication I can purchase through them as well as some comparable items that I could purchase for less elsewhere. I was very happy with the staff. Everyone that worked there appeared to really enjoy their job and I received wonderful customer service.
