Was in town for meetings and decided to try Stoke based on them serving an octopus dish (absolutely one of my favorite foods that not enough people try). I was not disappointed at all with the Charred Octopus dish which had a Spanish flair to it except for the orange addition (which was an interesting combination). Paired it with a local Windy Hill cider that was also really good.
The inside of the restaurant is very well done with the main dinning section on the lower level separated from the back bar. Since I arrived late, just grabbed a bar seat on a quiet Sunday night. The bartenders working for very friendly and talkative while catching watching Sunday night football. Will definitely be a stop on future visits to Charlotte.
