As a poor college student rooming on Loyola, this restaurant was always our late night go to meal. Of course there is nothing in NDG open late but this restaurant and it's good drunk food. Simply put, the delivery was terrible. We could have walked to and from the restaurant 10 times before getting our food. But the poutine is great, and their gyros and chicken pitas are very good. The salad is not the best, but everything else on the "plate meals" are good. Their fries are crispy which is always awesome when you come home late at night, and they actually do have some good deals if you check out their website and want to go into something with a friend like the "2 poutine, 2 gyro, 2 coke" combo. I've only ordered there once more since leaving Loyola campus, and picked up the food.
George is definitely a character. A friend of mine stole a menu one night that we were in there. He literally chased us down the street, and when we stopped to give it back, he signed it with his name and gave it back to her.
Sometimes I get a little nostalgic thinking about this place and the memories connected to it.
