| - Came here with a group. It was very lovely in the back room , the decorations were cool. The music was some sort of strange 90s/2000s station where they were playing blink 182, self esteem by the offspring, I just wanna fly, and some other odd tunes to hear at a place that was charging $19.00-$30.00 per dinner entree.
The other reviews were right. Don't come here unless for lunch, its way overpriced for what you get, and it's not that novel.
They're often out of the thing you want, for example, my friend wanted to order stouts, they were all out, he then tried to order two other beers, all out. My other friend wanted the sidecar cocktail. All out. It was disappointing.
We had a big group, but it took over an hour for our food to come out. One of the 3 main servers that was helping with our group was nice, the other two were visibly angry that they had to help our group, so it felt like anyone in a group shouldn't eat here unless you want to be resented by the staff.
The food was subpar. Not awful, just not great. I got the $19 chicken and dumplings, where the crispy sage leaves were the best part, overall, just some charred bird in the tiniest bit of gravy. My partner got the margarita flatbread, which had lemons on every slice. It was interesting, but not great. My friend who got the catfish wish the cornbread soufflé let me have some, I thought it was very good, decent seasoning and flavor, but small portion.
The gendered bathrooms also didn't seem well tended too. The stalls were out of toilet paper.
All in all, there are better restaurants in the square that'll treat you well with good food and good service. Go to them.
