| - This is my review of Prime located at 3875 Cambridge. It is a tale of two cities. A wonderful property manager named Noelle, and a property management company that could do a better job investing in the property. When I began the process to relocate to LV, there were two properties that were on my short list. One had no vacancy and the other was Prime. They entice you with the "model" unit that is nicely painted and furnished, but the unit you will probably get will not be.
Since being here 10/24, I have put in seven maintenance request. The bathtub leaked into the apartment below us, kitchen disposal unit was not properly working causing dirty water to flow into the master bathroom sink, water flowing into the dishwasher causing the water to sit and becoming odorous, and then ultimately cockroaches. My biggest complaint is spending $1275 in rent and not having shower rods in the bathrooms. For some strange reason, they are not provided.
The property is gated, but as it was explained to me the gate is for privacy not security. People that live here and are on the lease have a keycard to open the gate. The property must have numerous people that are living here illegally because so many people will park outside the gate and wait for someone with a keycard to open the gate, and then drive in. The main entrance is semi secure. It requires a keycard to open the door to the apartment after 6pm.
The people that live here are friendly and often quiet. Although the walls are kind of thin and even in my bedroom I can hear the noises coming from the hallway when other open and close doors. Since I have been here, people have gotten stuck in the elevator and even I have experienced the elevator not working properly.
At the time, I believe they had a property manage and an assistant. I had voiced my concerns to the assistant, only to have fallen on deaf ears. This person appeared to not take my concerns seriously. This is where Noelle became my problem solver. She was the person I first met when I toured the property and she has taken care on my concerns whenever they arise. She was able to exchange the refrigerator for me when requested, she made sure the cockroach problem was resolved and even followed up with me. A good property manager can be the deciding factor when deciding to renew a lease. I just wished the management company took tenants concerns as seriously as Noelle does
The property at the time was owned by Pinnacle, not sure if they still own the property or not. I love the location of the property which is across the street from a recreation center, one block from tons of shopping and two blocks away from my child's school. I will be saving to move when lease ends.
