Otaku has been my favorite place for sushi in Gilbert since 2015. The fish is always fresh and their rolls are unique combinations that are well thought out for their flavor profiles rather than just throwing a bunch of random ingredients together like other places. If you are not into sushi, they have an extensive menu that caters to any palette. My personal favorites include the Tom Yum and the Galbi Short Ribs. This time I had two new experiences at Otaku that made my visit even better. The raw Kumamoto oysters were so delicate and delicious my mouth still waters thinking about them. And they have a new Manager Jenny that came over the check in on our experience. She was very friendly and bubbly. It was like having a conversation with a friend, not with just a restaurant manager checking in on us! I look forward to going back again soon!
