  • Huge fan of the SOL in Newport Beach California, was catching a movie so decided to get a reservation. When we went we got a waiter was non existent. We waited for 10 min to be taken care of. Take in mind they were super busy so I understand, but when you charge an arm and a leg for Mexican food. The reason we are their is not because it's the greatest tacos on earth it's because we want to be taken care of have a couple and enjoy our time. Once we got taken care of for drinks, we did not see our waiter again for another 10 min and we got chips and salsa with no water or anything. I got up and went to the bar and got water for us. Then our drinks were dropped off by someone else and my drinks was wrong. But could not tell my waiter took it to the bar myself. And had it changed out. By the time we worsened appetizers we were their for 45 min. And 2 drinks down. Long story short second drink. Ever came. Food orders late 2 hours of the worst service I have ever gotten. Food was okay. I just asked for the check. Got charged for 3 drinks had to send the bill back and wait Ten minutes again for that to be done. Bill was a 100 dollars for one fish dish one guacamole and calamari. Our fish of the day was 44 dollars lol really. 44 dollars. All good making sure to not set foot back in this place and let others know to do the same. Food me once! Thanks. Save your money and go somewhere else where the Serice and the food are up to par! Btw no one ever reached out to us messaged us about this. Show how much they care!
