Sals is a relief to pasta addicts like me. Family owned, chain/franchise free Italian is definitely hard to find around here. The creamy pesto was creamy as promised but, unfortunately, you will need salt and parmesan to get to the flavor. It was a bit bland. I had hoped for homemade pasta but, again, real homemade Italian is hard to find. The interior was welcoming but the furniture is torn and out dated. Not a big deal for me. The service was the highlight. Very friendly and attentive. Very fair prices as well. The bear is fantastic as well. I will definitely be returning. Hopefully frozen chicken won't be waiting for me. That's also tough to find :/
