  • This was my first ever escape room and i can't imagine that this experience is what we are to expect. I went with several friends who had been to other escape rooms, and they were just as disappointed. We had an hour, but we had to leave our phones and thus had no way of knowing how much time had elapsed; this made it difficult to plan out our time. A clock on the wall would be very helpful. As well, we were given hints along the way, but they were given in a brusque and standoffish way, and honestly weren't so much hints as just the uninterested staff solving puzzles for us. I can't believe that's the point... My friend who booked the appointment was given an offer of a free return appointment since we really didn't enjoy ourselves, but we can't see that we're likely to use it. Very surprised at how many good reviews this place had, and we're hoping there are better in Toronto.
