  • I brought a Tory Burch purse to J&G which had a broken strap and the black leather was very faded (sidenote, Saks, where I purchased the bag a year prior to this, was absolutely no help! They only offer a 30 day return policy, very disappointing!). The guy at J&G (I forgot his name) was very honest with how the strap was constructed (very complex) and our different options for repair with the pricing and expectations for each. He also showed me other leather items that he had dyed, which gave me more assurance in that option When I picked up the purse a couple weeks later, I had spent appx $60 on the repairs (which is still much cheaper than a new purse) and I was very happy with the result! The strap was repaired with the option we agreed upon and the dye job made it look brand new again! My only complaint is that some of the black dye got on the tan inside lining of my bag, which I was not pleased with. But the outside is the most important so I would still recommend them to anyone
