| - This experience was kind of a mess. I felt a little like I was stuck in an episode of the Twilight zone. Our A/C broke in our room, and it took 3 calls, 2 technicians, 36 hours, and visit to the front desk before they finally switched us to a room with working A/C. I know this isn't the south, but our room wouldn't get colder than 76 degrees, and with 3 people staying in a room trying to get ready for a wedding, that just won't cut it.
Also, what's up with the fact that the bathroom doors in the room are see thru? Plus they're barn door-style, so it really negates any sort of privacy.
And don't even get me starting on the clown painting that hung in the bathroom. I spoke nice sweet whispers to it before I went to bed each night in the hopes that it wouldn't murder me in my sleep.
The hotel as a wedding venue is a much nicer experience. The wedding we attended was lovely, and if not for the insane hotel room shenanigans that the Hilton pulled, I would've given it higher marks. But to actually stay there is not worth the money in the least.
