Some Nepalese food reminds me more of Tibetan food - this restaurant definitely has that component, to my palate.
Had the combination dish with dal (which really is more like a flavorful soup), Roti, momo, and a samosa. The samosa was doused in this yogurt-y sauce that was quite refreshing and nicely paired. Momo dumplings had a sweet tomato sauce, couldn't discern what was inside but it was tasty. Lots of Roti on the plate, maybe a little too much with respect to other things on the plate. I guess i would prefer to have the dal served with the meal instead of before, but this is perhaps a custom for this spot!
Also had a cup of chiya which was great, add a little sweetener if it's not satisfying your sugar teeth.
Lovely place and good vibe with folks from the culture just simply hanging.
