Sunlight rays piercing through the windows, chalky hands, chill music pouring into your ears, and suddenly you feel that last hold of the boulder problem that you thought you could never reach. A fuzzy euphoric sense of satisfaction is followed by the starvation for more climbing.
You're not going to find routes but only bouldering. Meaning that you're not going to find those long rock climbing walls where a rope and a harness is required. What you should expect are much shorter rock climbing problems that is at a safe fall distance from the springy pads under you. So basically you only need rock shoes and you're good to go. What about chalk? Yeah don't worry about that, it's provided.
The route setters at Bloc Shop are absolute geniuses. The problems are the most physically exhausting fun I've ever had. Expect to use as much mind as strength to climb the boulder problems. You might surprise yourself at how your body can fold and twist in certain ways.
There's just something about Bloc Shop. It might be the vibe, the friendly rock climbing community or the addicting boulder problems. But regardless, it will always make you want to come back - it's also a better alternative to cocaine.
