| - My husband and I visited this place this past Saturday. We were so disappointed.
Firstly, our server forgot about us after getting our drinks for us. We are very patient and understanding people, being that both of us come from customer-service heavy work backgrounds, but there were only 3 other tables being served at the time. When our server finally came back to our table to take our order, she even made a joke about forgetting about us. Poor form.
When she brought us our food, I realized she had brought me the wrong order. I as OK with that, but what I didn't like is that there are two kinds of enchilada sauce, and she didn't ask me which I wanted. Most places out here do red by default (if they serve verde at all). As I read this, I realize it may sound a bit snobby, but it's just a bummer when you don't get what you order. I've never sent any orders back and I don't want to, as I know it makes more trouble for the cooks and servers - so I usually just deal, but what I got wasn't even good.
Which brings me to my next point. Beyond the service not being that great, the food wasn't good either. The salsa is pretty much just tomato puree, and was cold. The chips were stale. I realize they're free, but even microwaving the salsa would have made it better. As far as the enchilada and taco, I didn't like them much because I don't like super fried food - but alas, I could have sent back the order and didn't, which is on me.
Anywho, the overall experience can be summarized with a raspy "meh."
