I don't usually have a bad experience with most companies.. I'm not very happy with Dish Network. I am being relocated so had to cancel my Dish. They told me that since I added an additional box to my home 1.5 years ago, it restarted my contract for another 2 years. I said, "oh, so that's how you get customers to pay more?". I asked what my options were and had to pay the $50.00 to cancel my contract. I would have "froze" my account but they still wanted to charge me a monthly fee of $5 something. When I told them to cancel on April 1st (which I paid in full until April 1st), they shut my service off that day. I had to call and complain then have them put it back on. They told me I had to call on April 1st to shut it off again. Sometimes you just want it to be easy... all my other cancellations were a breeze.
