We came here for Sunday brunch after church when we were visiting. It wasn't very busy so we were quickly sat. The waitress was attentive and friendly. She started us off with a little taste of their homemade banana bread (I didn't know banana bread envy was a thing, but I will not stop until I can get mine to have that kind of color and flavor). Then we each ordered the chicken and waffle brunch. Delicious! A golden-friend breast, waffles thin enough so that you can actually eat the chicken with them, and a delicious sorghum syrup. Oh, I should also mention that we started with the sausage souffle (sausage, egg custard, biscuits...breakfast bread pudding heaven)...even though I'm reluctant to admit that we managed to eat all of that. Great experience. Also, it's in a hotel that we learned on a ghost tour the night prior is one of the most haunted in Charlotte, so there's that too if you're into that kind of thing.
