| - Ventured here for the first time today after perusing their website. They are so super close to where I live but I had thought the "Special Food Stores" in their signage meant that they would be very limited in their offerings. Was I wrong!
This store has so many great reasons to shop here -- from the meats, produce, breads, bakery goods, seafood, cheese, to just about everything else I could want. I liken it to having a Trader Joe's nearby. Like them, they don't carry everything I want -- I will still need to go elsewhere for some non-edible items such as paper products and plastic wrap. But, what they do carry seems to be a nice selection that I'm very pleased to have nearby. And, I definitely welcome a choice. I've been feeling as though my only choice nearby between work and home was the Giant Eagle. I don't mind Giant Eagle, but definitely could use a choice and an upgrade is most welcome.
We just had dinner, farm-raised salmon, purchased here tonight. Definitely satisfied. I was also able to purchase baking ingredients I need for Thanksgiving desserts and Garam Masala for making an Indian dish. Truly, the only thing I didn't find in the store was plastic wrap. I can live with that.
Bonus points: It's before Thanksgiving and the music wafting throughout the store was Christmas melodies and only Christmas melodies. Bonus points in my book, anyway.
