Please spread the word, DO NOT USE THIS GARAGE DOOR company: Smokey's Garage Door.
I recently called them because one of my remote openers was not working and the gears were getting loud. After they replaced the sprocket/gears, remote unit, external keyless pad entry panel, internal master garage pad, mother board.....MY GARAGE DOOR NOW OPENS RANDOMLY ON ITS OWN!!
Yes it is now quieter however, I wake in the morning to see that my garage door has opened sometime in the middle of the night on its own. No joke.
Smokey's has responded that, "they cannot help me further - that their job is complete....since they cannot visually see a malfunction, they cannot help further." So much for customer service and doing the right thing to correct an install that their company performed. The manager Joshua was more interested in reciting their top notch service rankings in AZ and that they are "the most widely used garage door vendor in az" and "highly ranked for their service standards", " I should call another garage door vendor to fix the problems.....", "we can't please everyone and fix them all!...." were their responses.
I'm shocked and disappointed in the level of customer service and their inability to recognize "doing the right thing" instead of just leaving me with a defective system that leaves my personal safety at risk. In today's competitive environment, the integrity of a business sets the standard and Smokey's has missed the mark!! #FAIL

*** Update: I find it humorous that the home warranty suggested to have Smokey's come back out to troubleshoot their installations especially seeing Smokey's response to my review....in light of the "law" as referenced in his comments.
The fact that we need to call in another vendor to clean up their mess is more evidence of their poor service intention in the first place.
There are enough poor reviews of this company on YELP.com that should have given me the heads up to start.
