  • So after I was told they do sign DOT medical checks to receive a DOT card as long as I received an "ok" from the doctor I made an 1.5 hour trip to see the dr. I get there and pay the $40 copay I wait 30 minutes later than my appointment before I'm called in. The dr. who barely speaks English does a normal check up that takes 5 minutes and starts to send me on my way as if he was rushing me out I then bring to his attention why I'm here, which is to get a sign off for my DOT medical waiver. He then refuses and states, "you cannot get a medical because of your diabetes". I then had to explain that if I see a medical dr. an eye dr. and a specialist and they all "ok" me I can. He still refused and said he'd get back to me after the weekend because he never heard of this. I asked if he can find out while I'm here since I traveled 1.5 hours and he refused. I called on Monday because I received no call and they take an hour and a half lunch with nobody in the office so I call after 1:30 P.M. and left a message for the dr. They then called me almost 2 weeks later to say they cannot sign me off. This place is literally a scam and is nothing but money hungry doctors. STAY AWAY!!
