| - Edit: a friend told me they already moved up the street. Hopefully they took this opportunity to hire people that care about customer service, but I doubt it. So this review probably still stands.
So glad the plaza this place is in is getting torn down. I have never received the level of bad service I got here. I went in there to see if I could get my PlayStation 3 fixed. The repair people were handling another customer when I got there so I waited. After like 20 minutes, they went to the back the instant they were done with that person, not even acknowledging me. Ok I thought maybe they are a little busy at first. But I just hear some idle chit chat back there. Then the person comes out and walks by me talking to the guy selling video games, who by the way also never acknowledged my presence. Then they walked to the back again. It was like I was invisible. Well, at this point I wanted to see if they would ever acknowledge me without me getting in their face. Nope. No one looked at me or wondered why I was just standing there. I wasn't looking at anything else like all the video games on the shelves, just waiting by the repair desk. I actually gave it a whole hour and a half. No exaggeration, no one even looked at me for that whole time. If you ever wondered what it would be like to be Patrick Swayze in Ghost, I now know. You might say why didn't I say anything. Initially I didn't want to butt in while they were dealing with another customer but when they actively didn't look at me after that, I wanted to see what was up. Good customer service means they should be the first to acknowledge me. But it became quite obvious that they didn't care one ounce about serving me so I took my wait to its conclusion. After the hour and a half, I left the store and still no one said a word to me as I walked out. This experience inspired me to just get a new console instead. Reading reviews about this place, you either had a great experience or you had a horrible one. I believe the horrible ones more than the positive ones. If they pick and choose who they want to give good service to, then they are terrible human beings. And they won't care about a review like this. Good bye Gamerama. May you not find another location to give people shoddy treatment.
