Let me start by saying that I absolutely ADORE Heather at Re Salon. She's amazing and I went to her religiously for more than 2 years. But yesterday ended that, and not because of her! Because of their terrible administrative staff that has messed up my appointment 3 times now. The first time, I showed up and they had me scheduled for another day and time (even though they sent me a confirmation email). The manager apologized, gave me a free facial, and we got things straightened out. The next time I scheduled, I showed up and they had me scheduled with someone other than Heather! I was pissed, and had to reschedule yet again. This last and 3rd time I showed up and they yet again had me scheduled with someone other than Heather (even though I scheduled that appointment while paying for my previous haircut with HEATHER). The girl at the desk was unapologetic and only wanted to reschedule me for another time. I told her "no thanks" and walked out. I'm now searching for a new salon.
It is completely unacceptable to me that the administrative staff at Re Salon cannot seem to do their jobs correctly. It seems to be common sense that a customer who has seen only 1 stylist there for more than 2 years should not be scheduled with another stylist. I block off a night of my week for a haircut, and I expect to have that haircut with my chosen stylist. And I don't think the customer should have to worry about whether the admin staff has done their jobs correctly.
It's a shame that some talented stylists are losing business due to the management's failures.
