Ice Box Canyon was a lot longer than I expected, but worth it for sure. The beginning of the hike was nice and flat with a little incline. The scenery was beautiful and it wasn't too hot out (we hiked in early October). When we got into the canyon, we could tell why the canyon was named; the canyon was at least ten degrees cooler than the rest of the hike. The canyon trail was tough to follow after we got into the canyon but there are a lot of options. We hiked as far as the waterfall, I'm assuming you can't hike much further. The hike itself is 2.5 miles roundtrip. MAKE SURE YOU TAKE WATER!!!
