  • Today, like many times since BR opened this location, I came to top up my growler. But today I have a very unpleasant situation like never before. Today I came to purchase a refill of a 0.95L with Cherazz (just tried few hours earlier in the afternoon of the same day - Sunday, July 2nd). Lovely brew for sure but the customer experience left me a sour taste in my mouth as much as my disappointment. I'll try to put the whole experience down in few words: I placed the order with the server who promptly washed the growler and proceeded to refill it. While waiting, I saw the flyer promoting a beer fest in LV. So, after a bit, I wanted to ask few questions about it (i.e. the cost for the ticket to access the beer fest in LV, what the ticket was giving you access to). Didn't even finish to hear about the first question that I had another one but the server left me there, alone, at the counter, dealing with my credit card and the machine to pay the refill. I waited. Patiently. I haven't even been acknowledged that the she wanted to go and help other customers. I have been waiting a bit under 3 minutes until one of the customers made the server noticing that I was waiting for her. In the meantime, I noticed that I was charged $15 for the Cherazz. Now: there is no sign that says how much the Cherazz cost per pint, per small or large growler. The customer only knows that for the small growler you're expected to pay $7.50 (I think it is or something in that ballpark...) and for the big one is $15. At that point, I didn't want to ask for more questions about the beer fest because I wanted to tell the server that there was probably a mistake. me "hey, I think there is a mistake, you charged me $15 when it should be $7.50." server "oh no, there is no mistake. this beer cost just a bit more" me "a bit more? this is double of what it normally cost. I didn't know that" server "oh, sorry. I forgot to tell". Now, I don't want product to waste, and I was way to upset to voice my rights. So I paid. But I think I should have left the beer there and leave with my growler the same way I walked in. I don't think that because she made the mistake I have to walk out with a bill that I wasn't expect to pay. Also, she didn't even make the effort to provide some fix to the inconvenience caused. I am extremely disappointed and I'm not sure if I want to come here worrying now every time I will set my foot in, if I will be charge the right amount, or if I might incur in a higher cost than advertised (yes, advertise, because when you display a specific cost per each individual unit, you must comply and BR didn't, either in writing or verbally). Too bad for a good beer in the neighbourhood. If you come, please make sure you ask before you initiate your purchase. Today, BR, shown poor service and very unskilled/unprofessional manner. When you deal with prices, a business must provide transparency, you don't have to explain a price after you present the bill. This, in my opinion, is a big mistake, doesn't matter if is $1 or $100. It's about trust and transparency. Today, big no no for me here.
