I took my husband, son, Mom and nephew to see the lights. It was about a 50 minute drive to North Ridgeville. You can see the lights from the highway and it looks very pretty.
You drive through a few lights before you get to the window to pay. Before we reached the booth, we were greeted by 2 kids selling light up necklaces so we bought 2 of them from my nephew and son. We made it to the booth and paid and the cost was $25, not the stated 18 that was on the website and when we asked why we had to pay $25 they said that the $18 price was 4 online tickets.
So we paid and began driving through. There is a sign that tells everyone to turn off their head lights however many did not follow those instructions. It may be a good idea for the people at the pay booth to tell people that.
Driving through the lights was awesome. My son and nephew really enjoy themselves. There were a variety of different Christmas themes that was pretty awesome to guess They had a huge blowup of santa, they had the 12 days of Christmas theme, they had Santa jumping down the chimney. It took about 15 minutes to go to the whole thing. They have a sign instructing you to turn your radio to a certain channel to listen to Xmas music, however, the majority of the ride was all commercials.
Over all it was a good experience, it was worth it for the kids.
