  • Edit: No longer offer residential service. Hotel or drop off at their Town Square location only. I hired Artsy Nannies to watch my 3 children (9, 7 & 7) in our home this past weekend. Reserving our nanny was easy. I called about a week in advance, gave my address, time I needed the nanny and my credit card info. All nannies have a background check, are first aid/CPR certified, at least 20 years old and have experience caring for children. A few days before the date I got an email confirming my address, date, time, my nanny's name and some info about her. Our nanny Lizelle arrived 15 minutes early with a bag of games and arts and crafts. She met the kids, asked a few questions, allergies, bedtime, etc. I immediately felt at ease. Lizelle was great. The kids took to her instantly. When we came home several hours later the kids were asleep in bed and had made crafts for Mother's Day. Lizelle told us all about their night and the fun they had. The next morning the kids couldn't stop talking about Lizelle and asking when she could come back again. Price for local residential care was $85 for the first 3 hours and $25 each additional hour for up to 3 children. Non local hotel rates are slightly higher. Your card is charged for the first 3 hours the day of and any additional hours the following morning. They charge by the hour and give a 5 minute grace period. So if your start time is 8 and you come home at 11:06 you are charged for an additional hour. They let you know this up front and suggest if you are going to be late you might as well stay out and enjoy yourself. This is the first time we have had a sitter in our home. Previously we have taken the kids to Parents Night Out at different places or waited until Grandma came to visit to have a date night. PNO are great but you don't always know how long a show or event is going to be. It is nice not to have to be back at a certain time. We do not have any family in Las Vegas and most of our friends do not have children so we have had a hard time finding a sitter. We are a bit overprotective and won't leave our kids with just anyone. I am so glad I found Artsy Nannies.
