| - We drove here from the Four Seasons for Thanksgiving dinner. Room service would have been a better idea.
Marché Bacchus cavernous space includes a retail wine store, a couple of interior rooms, and an enclosed patio overlooking a small lake, The set turkey dinner was $45.00 for salad, turkey, sides, and dessert. This wouldn't be a bad deal if anything tasted good. Nothing did. According to my companions, the salads were tasteless, the turkey dry, and the desserts in eatable. I ordered off the a la carte menu with a bit more fortune. While my goat cheese tarte was cloyingly sweet with a honey dripping, my braised beef tenderloin bits were rather tasty. The pecan pie was a tasteless tarte, rather than any piece of pie.
Marché Bacchus serves only wine and beer, and must be the only restaurant in Las Vegas that doesn't serve liquor. There wine list is decent, but I so wanted a cocktail. Service was quite good, and I felt bad knowing he realized we weren't enjoying our meal.
The 30 minute drive from the Four Seasons was such a wasted trip. Marché Bacchus did not provide a memorable Thanksgiving.
