  • We were left "hotel-less" at 1am in Bloomington (longer story)...but COLIN, Guest Services Manager, in Champaign saved the night/day!! When we called to book a reservation Colin went above and beyond to make up for the major inconvenience we experienced at a DIFFERENT HOTEL CHAIN in Bloomington. When we arrived he actually apologized for them!! That was impressive and left a lasting impression. We stayed for 3 nights. The hotel is VERY clean, has nice & COMFORTABLE beds/pillows/linens, quality room DARKENING SHADES, SPACIOUS suites in comparison to others in the area, and offers a good complimentary breakfast with a healthy variety. They even offer evening snacks/drinks/gatherings/activities during the week. The laundry room is EXCEPTIONALLY clean & spacious and not overpriced. The pool is WARM & CLEAN! We never heard any other "guest noise" like at some hotels that have thin walls. The staff are ALL outstanding...from the front desk to the housekeepers and maintenance staff. Every single one of them greeted us and asked about our stay, if we needed anything, and some gave us pointers on good places to eat and visit in the area. That is a huge compliment because yes I'm picky! "Work hard..sleep good!" They all made our family feel very much at HOME even though we were 1200 miles away. We have found "our NEW home away from home" for our next visit. Thank you Colin and to the rest of your staff. U ROCK! We hope you get to read this &/or the TY card we sent. We hope corporate reads this too! Thank you for taking great care of us during our stay! We will definitely be back In 2016 & we look forward to it!
