| - I'll begin by saying we went to Hong Kong Asian Diner on Christmas Eve so the restaurant was busy. We had to wait ~ 15 minutes, which wasn't too bad.
A waiter brought us menus and took our drinks order, but we never saw him again. Ten minutes later, a waitress came to take our full order. About 15 minutes later, we saw her again, bringing our drinks and crab puffs, our appetizer. The crab puffs were truly delicious, but I was a bit irked about waiting so long for my Diet Coke.
A while later, our entrées emerged. I had ordered kung pao pork, which I was really looking forward to, but I got kung pao chicken instead. I wanted to eat what I had ordered, but time was short due to the lag before being served and an upcoming Christmas Eve service so I stuck with the chicken. It tasted good, but next time I'll go I'll be sure to try the kung pao pork.
Our bill was reasonably priced, actually on the inexpensive side compared to other restaurants with smaller servings and less tasty food.
We had gratis orange slices for dessert.
