  • I used to like going to M Nails and have been to both Aiken Ave and Walnut St branches many times. But now, I can see both places going downhill. Service is not what it used to be, attitude has changed. The employees look kind of bored and don't focus on the job as they used to. I asked one of the workers what is different and she said that all of the attention is being paid to the new place opening in Aspinwall. So no longer the welcoming bowl of candy, no longer the clean floor, no longer washing out the pedi tub between clients as required by law! I noticed that the instruments are not even being sterilized as they used to be. Some kind of liquid was squirted on them and then they were quickly wiped off with paper towel. That is not enough to sterilize instruments! And it's not legal to do it like that either. People who rate the salons just talk about the end result, are the nails pretty or not, and are not even noticing that the state-required hygiene and safety is not up to par. They can be transferring all sorts of diseases from one client to another. I'm looking for another salon asap!
