  • I first visited Paris Optique about 5 years ago. I had heard they carry exclusive, unique, high-end brands. I am a hard fit for frames -- a narrow face but a wide nose bridge. Because of this and the desire to look good, I like to try on many frames to see what will fit well and look best. Paris Optique carries many frames suitable for my structure -- smaller lens size with a wider bridge. Each time I have stopped into Paris Optique I have been treated remarkably well. The sales team knows their products. They take the time to show you several frames so you can make a choice you are happy with. They do sell high-end frames and lenses, but it feels like it. You get what you pay for, that is for sure. I have purchased three pairs of glasses (2 prescription and 1 sunglass) from Paris Optique and I could not be happier. The pair I bought five years ago still looks great and the folks at Paris Optique are happy to adjust and clean them whenever I stop by. I had an issue with the sunglasses I purchased. I left them in the hot car and the anti-reflective coat warped within a few weeks of buying them. I went back to the store and in an hour the optician changed out the lenses and took care of everything. I was blown away. A few months ago, I popped into the Scottsdale Quarter location and looked at some frames with salesperson, Jim Bell. He was terrific. I was not really looking to buy glasses but was interested in getting some ideas for the future. Jim knew this but treated me like I was going to buy that day. He was patient, generous, had great suggestions -- an A+! As time went by, I could not get one pair out of my head so I called Jim up to make sure he was at the store so I could make sure I worked with him. I ended up buying a different pair. Jim took the time to show me several frames and talked me through the pros and cons of each. We both agreed on a pair and I never felt like I was being upsold. In fact, we picked a pair less expensive than some of the ones I tried on. Jim's knowledge of the brands and excellent suggestions make the experience second to none and the reason Paris Optique the only place I would go for glasses. Everything about this boutique --- the quality of the product and the service of all the professionals that work there --- set them apart from the generic corporate stores you see at every mall. I could not be happier.
