This was my first and last stay here. First, after parking my car I had to trek through the Miracle Mile shops to get to the hotel. Then I had to go downstairs to find registration, not really a problem, except that no one could tell me how to get there! I just kept going in a circle until I found a security guard who helped me find the escalators that went downstairs. When I asked the concierge for help and told him of my displeasure of having to trek thru the shops and hotel he took his pen out and started to write something. Then he says to me "ill send your request to the architect so they can redesign the hotel". Really?! I'm totally serious when I say they have the worst staff for giving directions. And, why does Planet Hollywood have employees wearing Westgate Hotel uniforms giving out information and directions? If this place is being run by the Westgate I know why the place is so bad!
My room was horrible! Electrical cords lying on the floor, chipped furniture, old furniture, bad carpet and absolutely no padding under the carpet. I might as well have been walking outside on the concrete barefoot. The walls were stained with whatever they used to fix the holes, the lampshade has stains that looked like either ketchup or blood. . .
When I called and asked for a new room I was told the hotel was full and they would not know until the next day if they could move me. This was supposed to be an UPGRADED room. If this is there upgraded room I'd hate to see their regular room. I was actually there for the TravelCon Travelers Convention. I would think they would treat their convention goers better than this.
This place is not worth one cent of the money. As far as I'm concerned they should refund my money for enduring their horrible room and rude employees. I do have pictures but can't seem to get them posted.
