  • The concept of a tap room is great and well executed, as are their beer selections and themed beer events. I've always had great interactions with the owners and most bartenders. Unfortunately, after many happy visits my experience here has been ruined by a rude bartender making me feel unwelcome and giving preferential treatment to what seemed to be his friends having a private party at BarleyPop, as I tried to place an order amid the chaos after waiting my turn in line. This also happened to be on a day of a special sour beer event that my husband and I were very much looking forward to - a curious time to reserve most of the space for a private party. Very disappointed.
