**Update** DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. This company turned off my internet during a test, claiming they received notice that I had downloaded a movie that I did not. My wife called and they turned Internet back on but now it won't stream Hulu, Netflix or Amazon Prime movies. We're paying for more bandwidth than that. They don't care about the customer. They have a monopoly here on Internet service. We're going to look for another company. COMPLETELY UNRELIABLE! They treat you like garbage! I'll be going with Century Link or another available service provider.
I lived in L.A. all of my life and had Time Warner cable for about 8 years at one point. Out of all of those years, I remember only a handful of times the internet went out. I've lived in the Phoenix area for about 4 months now and can barely count on both hands how many times there have been trouble with the internet or cable. For the price we, the customers are paying, Cox Communications should be reimbursing us for the loss of internet or cable time. The people participating in online classes, "Netflix and Chillin,'" the gamers playing the new multiplayer feature on their video games and to the lonely people out there streaming porn only to sit and watch the computer buffer are suffering. Do we need to start a petition or what?
