| - I was a bit disappointed in the atmosphere and condition of the place. Perhaps the great reviews made me expect something a little more upscale (peaceful, nice looking, less shouting back and fourth among the staff in their foreign language). I have absolutely nothing against people whose first language is not English, but do find it uncomfortable, particularly when I am someone's client in a professional setting, when they carry on a conversation in front of me, potentially about me, during my service, in a foreign language.
I wish the person doing my pedicure was more comfortable with English. I'm not a chatty person so didn't need the socializing, but a basic introduction, and being able to understand what he needed me to do, would have been nice.
The basic pedicure I got was fine. He didn't skimp on the massage, which I appreciate (thus the stars). But I definitely didn't get the feeling anyone here cared whether or not I ever came back.
The only reason I would return is the convenient location.
